Ultimate Veggie Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 12-14 inch pizza crust (Namaste has a great gluten-free pizza crust mix)
- 1 jar pizza sauce (such as Ragu)
- Italian seasoning or dried oregano
- 1 bell pepper (preferably not green), chopped
- 1 can (2.25 oz) sliced black olives, drained
- 1 can (4 oz) roasted diced mild green chilies, drained
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 1 to 1.5 cups shredded fat-free mozzarella cheese (Kraft is a good brand)
- 4 to 5 slices reduced-fat Provolone cheese (such as Sargento-comes in 10 slices)
- 1/2 cup fresh sliced basil
Instructions
- Prepare crust according to directions
- Add sauce to crust (we like extra sauce, so I use a lot)
- Sprinkle sauce with Italian seasoning or oregano to taste
- Add bell pepper through mushrooms
- Sprinkle veggies with fat-free mozzarella cheese
- Top mozzarella by evenly placing Provolone slices on the pizza (there will be some bare spaces)
- Cook at 350 for 10-12 minutes
