Thin crust pizza dough

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 3/4 cups Warm Water 110 Degrees F
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 2/3 cups Bread flour

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, dissolve the yeast and brown sugar in the water, and let stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in 1/2 cup of flour, salt, and olive oil. Let stand for 10 minutes or until bubbles form.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of flour until dough ball is formed. Turn dough out onto a clean, well floured surface, and knead in more flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Place the dough into a well oiled bowl, and cover with cloth or plastic wrap. Let the dough rise until double in size; this should take about 1 hour. Punch down the dough, and form a tight ball. Allow the dough to relax for a minute before rolling out or shaping. Add your favorite toppings.
  4. Preheat oven (and pizza stone if you are using one) to 475 degrees F. If you are baking the dough on a pizza stone, you may place you toppings on the dough, and bake immediately If you are baking your pizza in a pan, lightly oil the pan , and let the dough rise for 15 or 20 minutes before topping and baking it.
  5. Bake pizza in preheated oven, until the cheese and crust are golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.
