Whole Wheat Pizza Dough Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup White flour
  • 1 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp. dry yeast (i package)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in water. Sprinkle yeast over and let it stand for 10 minutes or until foamy.
  2. Combine flours add salt in separate bowls.
  3. Stir oil into yeast, stir in half of flour mix, and continue adding flour until dough can be gathered into a sticky ball.
  4. knead the dough for 5 minutes. Cut it in half and cover with waxed paper and let rise 10 minutes.
  5. Roll each half into a 12“ circle.
  6. Transfer to lightly oiled pans.
  7. Stretch dough into large circles and let rise 15 minutes before adding toppings. Let raise 30 minutes for thicker crust.
  8. Makes 2 round 12“ pizzas
